Freedom Airline, East Africa’s leading privately-owned airline, is one of the few companies accredited to provide aircraft Maintenance services at Nairobi’s Wilson Airport and the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

The Company’s Aircraft Maintenance is one of Kenya’s most versatile workshops, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and more than 50 qualified aviation engineers.

“ We have a very robust team of engineers who are rated for the Embraer, CRJ and Fokker fleet,” says Ellis Schane Head of Engineering.

Schane says Airline, Freedom believes that keeping sound aircrafts is the key to safety. This is hence the heavy investment in building robust Aircraft Maintenance team.

“We have a complete in-house team capable of performing all maintenance services on our fleet,” Schane says. “We also have capacity to provide aircraft maintenance services for other airlines. All our engineers are certified and accredited by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA),” he quips.
